🥳Happy 1st Anniversary to me!!

🎯June 29th, 2022. I remember this day as if it were yesterday. On that day, I officially decided to take the plunge and become an entrepreneur full-time. After years of hard work and dedication to my career in Corporate Communications, I felt it was time for me to make the switch from corporate life to owning my own business.
🥳 Today marks my one-year anniversary as a full-time entrepreneur running G Communication Consulting. Looking back on everything that has happened over the last 12 months, there’s so much more than just having a successful business full-time; there was also an incredible journey of self-discovery along with it, filled with highs and lows; failures and successes - but it's all been worth it in order to follow this dream of mine 🏆.
❤ What started out as G Communication Consulting has grown into so much more than just a company’s name or logo, but rather an opportunity to learn that one of my biggest personal values is FREEDOM: being able to choose 👩🏻💻 what kind of work I do, 🤯 how I will do it, and 👀whom I will do it with, is paramount to me.
This 1-Year anniversary marks such a special milestone in my life because not only did it allow me to remain financially independent but also gave me control over how to lead my life going forward - something which is priceless beyond measure.
To anyone who is on their journey towards transitioning into entrepreneurship (or has just recently done so), here's some advice ➡️: taking the risk to put yourself and your skills out there can be a truly terrifying feeling (I know!!) - and it is totally understandable to experience anxiety or fear of failure when starting a new business. However, we must remember that if our dreams are to be realized and our projects brought to life, we will need to summon up the courage to move forward despite our fears, as this will likely be the only way for success…
😮 Even though it may seem at first like no one is interested in what you have to offer, I find it inspiring to think that with a little bit of bravery and resilience, these same people might eventually come around and develop trust in your abilities. Therefore, never ignore your instincts and let them lead you into taking risks - when you look past them, you'll see new doors open up before you!
😍Always approach your work with joyful, passionate commitment and be humble no matter how far you go - continuously strive to become a better person and professional for yourself, your family and your company while being grateful for your clients who believe in you, who constantly teach you something new, and let you feel part of their teams! 🙏

P.S. These three photos well represent this journey so far…
When I first saw the Kung Fu Panda statue at the entrance of my co-working space in Switzerland, something about it just spoke to me. It was like a sign that this place was where I belonged. Instinctively, Po’s quote came to mind: “You have to believe in yourself. That's the secret.”
Little did I know how soon my newfound confidence would be put to a test when one of my beloved clients asked me to run a strategic workshop for them in Italy – talk about stress levels skyrocketing! But deep down, something told me that if I could get through this first big challenge, then anything else wouldn't seem so impossible anymore.
Last photo is me in Singapore 💯% “in the flow”, fully immersed in my work, forgetting about the outside world, and finding a sense of profound calm, happiness, and gratitude…
Although we can never predict our future, I truly hope to continue experiencing that level of enjoyment in my work. It's a feeling that comes from within, driven by a passion for what we do. And I believe that passion is what helps to drive us forward, to continue improving and growing, and to offer the best possible service to those we support.
